Great & would recommend to others.

I arrived with 2 cases, the entrance is on top of a large staircase. just as I was trying to figure out how to get my large bulky suitcase down the stairs the recpetionist had already come upsatirs to assist me. Same for when I checked out the staff automatically went to get my bag and help me take it up the stairs. The set up is big spacious and chill, and the berooms are compfy with enough space for opening & sorting suitcases.

The sinks & toilet facilities were all clean. The issue was the shower & bath area. More an issue with the molding and peeling of the ceiling & walls. Very unappealing & concerning, for health reasons.

Great value for money and the location is super nice!

The facilities of the Inn is superb! It is clean and tidy. Great for backpackers and for short time visits to Kaohsiung.

Not all reception staff speak English. I was lucky when I arrived that the staff understood me, but for the rest of the stay, the staff didn't speak English. Nonetheless, all staff are accomodating and courteous.

Love the concept. You get your privacy with your mini room and still pay hostel prices. Breakfast was ok. One of the selling points for me was the included onsen (hot and cold pool, sauna) but that came with unexpected extras.

Not the hotel's fault, it might have been a one time thing but the ambience in the onsen was to say the least, seedy. I only went once during my 2 day stay and I saw some naughty behavior from some of the guests. Unless that's your thing I wouldn't choose this place based on the onsen.

The Spa Area was really nice and helped to relax after a long day. There are multiple pools with different watertemperatures. From ice-cold to super-hot. Super good value for your money and close to the station.

There is a big gap at the top of the room so you could hear everything. Like EVERYTHING. The night bevor leaving a guy next to me packed his things at 00.30 am and waked up everybody... You can feel every spring in the matress....

Generally comfortable stay in an accessible location

The breakfast was a standard Taiwanese style breakfast, with rice porridge, preserved vegetables, and some fruits. I would have hoped for some protein source like nuts and eggs too, since I don't really eat a lot of carbs.

The room was smaller than expected and the photos gave me the mistaken impression that it was bigger.

Generally pleasant stay

They were relatively well-ventilated, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. There was also an onsen for the guys, although it was busy mostly. Breakfast was basic, so it would be better if the menu was more varied.

The bathroom was separate from the bedroom, and my room was way smaller than in the pictures advertised.

Decent breakfast and great staff

It had loads of showers and toilets to accommodate the amount of guests, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was simple but good and it was very close to the train station.

The dorms held 10 people so curtains around the beds would be beneficial.

Close to train station. Quite nice breakfast.

Whole place is underground. The rooms are very humid and smell after mold. No certains by the bed. Always you could hear mechanical noise. And light has exact time when it is on/off.

There is a great bathing facilities , but the sauna was early closed than the notice announced.

I don’t mind there is a poor sound insulation, but there weren’t any notice in English to inform all the guests be quite and lower the volume. The noises there made me trouble sleeping even I was having a earplugs.Last but not least, there was a lot of mosquito in the lobby which was bit by 3times-4times in one day if I was sitting in the lobby.

The staff very nice and the included breakfast is substantial. Good location as well, only about a 10/15min walk from the main station.

For what it is, I found it pretty expensive. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything, I didn't sleep that great. There are gaps in the doors and a vent/gap at the bottom so if one was inclined they could look into your room. The lights in the halls come in making it harder to sleep.

The baths and the sauna were good. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

The toilets for the rooms did not have any sort of barrier between the toilet and the rooms so the smell and the noise would waft down the hallways and into the rooms. Access the showers and baths was through the lobby and common area so made an odd environment.

The sauna and hot tub were fantastic! Very surprised that a budget hostel would have these.

There were no curtains around the beds so there was little privacy. As well, each time someone opened the door, the dormitories would be flooded with light. There is only a curtain separating the main hallway to the dormitories so the noise from outside goes into the sleeping area too.

Staff were very friendly. The bath area was amazing and the bed was comfortable.

I chose to stay in a dorm style room - very affordable but it comes at the cost of a good sleep when you have many other dorm buddies that come to bed much later then you. This is not the fault of the facility really however. Slightly noisy outside the room at times which is more to do with soundproofing between the room and the wash facilities.

I love the Spa area hot tub, cold tub ,sauna, steam room , very good for relaxation and health , kept clean and I just wish it wasn't Men only side or woman ONLY sides ...We are grown ups not children.....if equality and this gender generation well know have allowing gays to interact together,why CAN'T straight men and women in a spa too , I see this is not fair ..I don't appreciate gays only staring or advances on me only...So gay or straight should be no issues or disrespect in any areas.,. Open to either I feel....I'm a true naturism for health in which the sexes interact freely of course WITHOUT SEXUAL ADVANCES or ACTIVITY DONE IN THE PUBLIC AREA OR RESTROOM with all do respect of others straight or gay .......not to say the there are disrespect here ,but I was not comfortable many times the guys hanging out in bathroom entry for hours nakid with hair dryers in hand nakid for wrong reason staring basically in front of mirror prancing around Nelly style lol hitting on me , thank God I not understanding what exactly they were saying to me . I lived in West Hollywood Very rich and gay community,90% ,and I'm not prejudice either...I have 4 children all of different races I adopted and of my own.....so don't say gay phobia to me , it won't work .....I ignored and went on with my enjoying this awesome opportunity to have such luxuries to use especially for hostel prices.. ty so much , I am a hot tub and pool specialist in building and repair, personally this is a very very nicely set up but as a pool specialist there are few things that need addressed, or fixed to looking better ( tile professional clean and sealed. Bringing out a true beautiful looks tile has to offer ....if preventive maintenance is neglected in time you will have many problems, I see you need work done to open the swimming links section...that would be a plus , I'm here if you need leaks or tile repair or plumbing .....

I pretty much addressed all the above , I really like it here. If the Visa permits me , I'd love to either stay longer in a room or dorm and get a visa extension ...Most everyone here is very professional and friendly to me , ty .I don't Yet speak Chinese only a bit of English and Tagalog and Spanish,so it was nice you all have a few that work to understand English ty ty ty , I want to stay here relax and study Buddhism, I feel this is and could be my spot to do so and get I in shape spiritually and if you had gym , physically, would be a PLUS Good location and many places to eat out Taiwanese food and groceries store very close ,actually walking distance .. hardware store clothing stores awesome deals and Taiwan made quality apparel, I'm so impressed I don't want to leave Taiwan at all ): Im tired of traveling internationally cause all my family passed ,this would be awesome if I could call your country home here and study Buddhism as I am doing and really like...Peace Out I'd definitely recommend and refer this place to many of the expats & traveling NoMads like me...They are looking for nice places to stay and work online internationally..ty so much for having me ,
